I play a miquote men and im not gay nor do my character wander around with no clothes. I picked it cause it looks more shonen anime hero than hyur.

Im short,guy, bi irl, i chose a miqo male face 1 and lowest height bec its the closest i could get to myself. My main is tank but i do have bunch if healers as well, and i tend to dress my character usually in something id wear myself and not the shorts 😂 so yeah like maybe accurate for most but exception are to be made i guess

Thank you for this video! I knew sage was pretty strong, having been healed by quite a few (I mainly tank), but I was not getting the healing style on my own. Watched this, and was able to run a few dungeons successfully, thx!

As I am getting into endgame, (being about to enter Endwalker) I have seen that I need to start applying some more asvanced tips as WHM, and this has helped me a bunch to see what exactly I am doing wrong and how to get better. I will deffinately be using this to keep my party topped up and become an even better glare mage! XD

the heterochromia part is accurate. my xaela girl has heterochromia (though it's pretty hard to tell with the limbal rings) and while usually i can do mechanics properly if i know what i'm supposed to be doing for the raid mech, i will occasionally get distracted by something and then fail the mech because i had no clue it was happening (or i just don't know how to read the mech, i follow everyone else, and they couldn't read the mech properly either)

I'm just starting out and determined to stay on the trial for as long as possible because I loathe subscriptions, but my true calling is bunnyboi and I will prove you wrong. Until then, I'll have to be a fashionable gay cat.

I never got to play the pre rework summoner but am curious how it would play. Hearing it was more pet oriented is something I wish they went back to. Right now summoning is not much more then just spell casting but with a fancy animation. Imo scholar is a better summoner then summoner. Because at least scholar has a summon that they can move around and it does some actual stuff as pet

It has been like 10 years since I played a hunter on classic and I have been trying to figure out how to train the pet and I open my spellbook all the time and I never noticed that the pet training thing was literally right in my face

Curiously as a rare FFXIV player, but a healing specialist in WoW for over 15 years, I was thinking you needed a disclaimer "Does not apply to healers". Then realised you are one. I have come to realise you actually LOOK at the visuals, where, apart from not standing in bad (which I use an add-on to help track if random), I am watching bars far more, no click through on player bars etc. I'm also more of a macro builder than key-binder. But that's functionally the same. Returning for the new Dawntrail, the single biggest enhancement for my game play would be to put things where I expect them. It doesn't need to be logical or optimal - I look for strafe on Q&E, because that's where I expect them. I could move to a more optimal key, but it would cost me time, when I swap between WoW, SWTOR, Rift & FFXIV. So I don't have that fumble-fingered experience when I touch type the wrong keys because I forgot which game I was playing. It's true that I am a low-mobility healer. But when working with strafe, I never found enough frontal cone heals to need pointing in the right direction. Fortunately, the combat experience in FFXIV is so slow, there's less penalty for that limitation. The one thing truly useful as a repeatedly new returning player is detaching tooltips from the cursor, so that they do not obscure hot keys when mouse-clicking rather than touch-typing - and I do that for solo PVE, only touch type, healing groups - my default finger positions are 3-6 and I can reach anything from 1-7 comfortably, only going to WASD when forced to move. Short fingers can't touch type both WASD and hotkeys. The video could also benefit a title indicating it is more aimed at raiding. Design is OK, but the learning curve for new players on HOW to change things is steep. Coming back to the game for the5th or 6th time, I am starting to remember the painful discoveries from before and knowing something is possible is a big step in being able to change it.

I logged out in Badlands Saturday night. Logged in Sunday morning and Broken Tooth was right in front of me. Was able to get him up to 51 and best friend in 1 day.

When I first started playing, I was a female Elezen, changed to female Miqo'te and stayed a female Miqo'te until I saw an NPC that looked exactly like my character, went from ARR (post Ultima weapon) to post Endwalker as one, changed to Lalafell after that because up until then my character was truly unique and it gave me a true sense of immersion. Then Dawntrail hit along with the graphics update, and I went from a perfectly beach tanned popoto (Limsa was my starting city) to a burnt chicken nugget, so i tried to fix my skin tone to be that perfect beach tan again, but I couldn't get it right, so I went female Au ra and have no intention of going back as of now.
